"Scuba Doom-ba"

Films: Destination Inner Space (1966)

Alias: None

Type: Alien

Location: Eldritch Location/Ocean/Haunted Home

Height/Weight: That of a human with about 10 bricks attatched.

Affiliation: Evil

Summary: It's not often we have aliens pop up in the sea. But for all those extraterrestrials who've carved out a niche for the water, you'll be happy to know that more than half our planet is full of it!

History: A bunch of people working in a Sealab were in for quite a shock. Not too far from them, an alien ship has parked, and commandeering it is a fish-like emissary of a potential invasion. Only their wits and traps and generally greater mobility can save them now.

Notable Kills: Nothing special.

Final Fate: The researchers track down the ship, plant some dynamite, and make both fish-man and ship go boom.

Powers/Abilities: The hide of this being is like chainmail, and can withstand most attacks, even harpoons.

Weakness: A weapon of great destructive force, like explosives. Also, an aversion to bright/hot things.

Scariness Factor: 2.5-Well, you can't fault them for creativity. This finned mixture between what looks like a human, a fish, and a frog is about as graceful on land as a beached cod, and has a perpetual cartoonish angry fish-face on it. Not the most intimidating threat.

Trivia: -This film is known for being the return of actress and singer Sheree North to the screen after 1958's "Mardi Gras".

-This film was also known as "Terror of the Deep".
